#1
This Hackensack NJ-native singer is the daughter of Pat Boone & granddaughter of Red Foley. Her best-known song is 1977’s “You Light Up My Life”, which peaked at #4 on the country charts & claimed #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for 10 weeks. This song, though, is her best country single; it debuted 02/16/1980, spent 15 weeks on the charts & claimed #1. Of 13 releases, only these 2 reached the Top 10 of the country charts.

#2
This band formed in Los Angeles CA by Cary Park, Larry Park, Jeffrey Steele & Hugh Wright. After 1993-4’s “She’d Give Anything” became their 1st Top 10 when it peaked at #4, this song (perfect for Old Cars, Strong Hearts) debuted 04/02/1994, spent 20 weeks on the country charts & peaked at #2. It proved to be their best-charting single. Of 7 releases 1992-1995, they notched only 2 Top 10s.
