This Pyburn TN-native singer-songwriter-guitarist had a brief successful career in the 2000s.

#1
This song debuted 03/23/2002, spent 32 weeks on the country charts & claimed #1; it was his 1st Top 10 hit, behind 4 prior releases, only 2 of which had cracked the Top 15. This single crossed over & reached #28 on the Billboard Hot 100. His follow-up release, 2002-3’s “Family Tree”, stalled at #26 on the country charts. This is 1 of those songs that speak to you, even if you don’t identify 100% with the lyrics….

#2
Of 3 releases in 2003, only 1 reached the Top 30: “Have You Forgotten?”, which claimed #1 for 7 straight weeks on the country charts & crossed over to reach #22 on the Billboard Hot 100. This song, his only release in 2004, debuted 07/10/2004 & spent 33 weeks on the country charts, 2 of those at #1; it also crossed over, reaching #30 on the Billboard Hot 100.

#3
Hitting the airwaves 03/05/2005, this song (to which I can relate, in some ways) spent 21 weeks on the charts & peaked at #9. It was his last Top 10; of 9 releases late 2005 to early 2012, only 2 reached the Top 30: 2006-7’s “I Just Came Back From A War” (#18) & 2009’s “Sounds Like Life To Me” (#11).
