We got to Oklahoma City and we’re reading about the route for the next day. We would cross into Texas early and we saw several comments regarding the rough roads. Since we had already taken the Vette on roads it wasn’t designed for, I opted to return to Chicago and finish the route this year (in a rental). Hopefully, I can add the Pacific Coast Highway on the end.
