Released 06/17/1997 as the 1st single from their 2nd album ‘Floored’, the song claimed #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 4 straight weeks; it also spent 8 weeks atop the Alternative Songs chart, while claiming #1 on 2 different Canadian charts. Critics felt the band would be a 1-hit wonder….

The band’s 3rd album, ’14:59’, started with a pair of Billboard Hot 100 Top 10s in 1999’s “Every Morning” (#3) & 1999’s “Someday” (#7). This song, the 3rd release from that album, didn’t fare as well. It notched at #29 on the Billboard Hot 100 & #5 on the Alternative Songs charts. The title is often confused as “Run Away”, given the repetition of that phrase in the lyrics.

This song, the 1st release from the band’s 4th album (self-titled), hit the airwaves 05/15/2001 & reached #13 on the Billboard Hot 100 & #2 on the Adult Top 40 Tracks charts; it also reached #6 in New Zealand. The song was featured in the 2002 film ‘The Sweetest Thing’ & was the band’s last widely popular single.
