Released 06/17/1997 as the 1st single from their 2nd album ‘Floored’, the song claimed #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 4 straight weeks; it also spent 8 weeks atop the Alternative Songs chart, while claiming #1 on 2 different Canadian charts. Critics felt the band would be a 1-hit wonder….

The band’s 3rd album, ’14:59’, started with a pair of Billboard Hot 100 Top 10s in 1999’s “Every Morning” (#3) & 1999’s “Someday” (#7). This song, the 3rd release from that album, didn’t fare as well. It notched at #29 on the Billboard Hot 100 & #5 on the Alternative Songs charts. The title is often confused as “Run Away”, given the repetition of that phrase in the lyrics.
